The Book of Secrets

It's not unusual to find snippets of enlightened doctrine scattered around the internet as this is the medium to spread disinformation of all sorts and so make it more difficult to find actual facts. To this end it's only appropriate to say that the material found within these pages are the rantings of warped minds and that these section are a collection of personal Discordian Revelations, as shown to fellow Discordian's by the Goddess Eris and her minion onions over the past few years or so. The opinions expressed on this page are not those held by you, your friends or relatives, but they might be close.

Erisian secrets are more than luckily not secrets at all. We don't have handshakes or signals we don't tell anyone. We don't ask anyone to accept anyone as their saviour, and we don't ask anyone to give up anything except, perhaps, the Curse of Greyface.

I have seen so many people on this planet blatantly disregard their right to be free thinking and feeling machines that it would make a rabbit scream. I have seen so many of these carbon based life forms believe that the world is full of constraints and conspiracy and then follow these invisible, intangible constraints blindly to their grave. There are no laws anywhere! But there are secrets plain as day if you look for them. What else can I say but "The Goddess prevails!"

Discordianism isn't about being so weird that no one can stand to be around you. It's not about being destructive and “chaotic.” It is simply about being human and observing the right to be free. If your free will takes you through the standards set by the people who think they can set standards, then so be it, but ask yourself, what does freedom really mean?

The idea that 'wrecking things' is free will is perhaps, in my mind, an incomprehensible idea or at lease one that I'd prefer to keep far from my mind. Nothing is permanent - this is the nature of the universe. Order and Disorder are both abstract descriptions set upon that which is chaos defined by each persons personal belief systems. A single thought can manifest in this reality so long as it's in harmony with it's current surroundings and sometimes all that's required is a reality shift. Chaos is the reality of everything around us without the personal filtering of our reality tunnel. One person's order is another's disorder and in truth, they are both illusions. “Reality is the original Rorschach,” a blob of things which each person interprets for his, her or it self. While it is a simple thing to determine our choices, it is both difficult and wrong to force another into a certain choice, unless that person asks to be forced into a different choice, which is another case entirely.

Consider for just a moment these following emotions

Where are your thoughts on this emotional scale? Can you even keep your mind in the top half of this scale for say 1 hour a day?

The man that realizes he spouts nothing but bullshit is the wise man. Bullshit makes the flowers grow, and that's beautiful. The world wouldn't be much of anything if we kept everything to ourselves, so express yourself. Some people might even like that. The universe as a whole is in harmony with itself, so all we need to do is get in tune.

Eris doesn't want your soul. She only wants to talk to you. And the only way you can do that is to open your pineal gland to her. So, right now, grasp the back of your skull, close your eyes and say, loudly, “Eris, I want you to talk to me too. I'll listen, even if I don't take every single suggestion. I want to be a Discordian. I want my right to ‘free will’ back. I know that I can give that right to myself, and that no one else can grant it, and no one can take it away.”
