Chanya’s Salon is almost finished

The work on Chanya’s salon is almost complete now. It is, at least, ready for cutting hair so I took the opportunity to be the first customer. We still have a few items to acquire, such as a Desk, a product shelf, some work trollies for the stylists, some sign writing and installing the trademark Barber’s pole out the front.

I’m quite surprised at how quickly it has all come together and seeing Chanya’s enthusiasm to get this underway has been a great experience. She has come home exhausted every day for the last 2 weeks.

Anyway, we are looking at the 6th of November as the official opening day when we get the monks to bless the establishment. If you want to come around and be here for the official opening, let us know on our facebook page and we’ll keep you in the loop.
