My good buddy Tim from Canada is in Bangkok so we arrange to meet at the Changwon Express craft beer house at the Flow House. This place has recently opened and is the second establishment the young Korean has started in Bangkok. He chose this location because of the surf theme downstairs at the Flow House where you can try your hand (or feet) at a bit of wake surfing. The beer here was great although a little on the expensive side given that the Thai’s can’t make craft beer due to the monopoly of the major brewers in Thailand so it all needs to be imported from other places which attract a heavy excise. Don’t let that put you off though, bring your swimming gear and come down and enjoy the Hawaiian theme.
If you are planning to try the surfing, remember that you will need to make an advanced booking to reserve your place in the queue as it is quite popular. Of course, you don’t need to worry about refreshments with the 30 taps upstairs at the Changwon.
