Demo rides at the Triumph dealership

I was expecting a bigger turnout for the Triumph Demo Day event, but I guess most people are at the Bangkok Motor Show. Another possible reason is that people are waiting for the sun to go down so it isn’t quite as hot to ride. This didn’t stop me or Jay and his girlfriend from dropping by. Jay has been looking at the Bonneville as his next bike so it was a good opportunity to try out the T100 and the T120.

As I’ve mentioned in previous comment replies on other demo ride days, I’m not looking to upgrade just yet, but my bike isn’t jealous of me riding other bikes, so all is good in my world. It’s really a biker etiquette where you never ask a fellow biker if you can ride their bike, but if they offer, then you’re sweet. At least with the demo days, you do get to try things out without overstepping any lines.

Needless to say, we got the chance to ride the Bonnies and then we headed off for lunch just down the road. Jane, Jay’s girlfriend, chose the BBQ Plaza for lunch which worked out to be a good choice. I haven’t been to one of these in quite a while.
