The final part of my Pattaya trip kicks off outside London Beigel, which has a reputation for serving up the best sandwiches in town! Jerry picked this spot after a recommendation from Nick Dean (NDTVi), and we arrived just in time for their 1 PM opening.
Owner Spencer gave us a tour of the shop, explaining how everything is made in-house—from the cured meats to the freshly baked bread. The attention to detail here is impressive, and the sandwiches? Absolutely worth the hype!
Next stop—Jomtien Beach to visit a spot I’ve been meaning to check out: The Wombat & Kiwi Bar. We caught up with Steve, the owner, who shared the bar’s story. He took over the place just before COVID hit, but despite the tough times, he managed to keep it going. Now, it’s a popular mainstay on Jomtien Beach with a great atmosphere and menu.
After soaking in the beach vibes, it was time to head back to Pattaya to catch up with the Aussie crew again. Tree Town was the meeting spot, where everyone grabbed some food before heading out for the night. I led the group over to Soi Honey, a famous nightlife street, but by 11:30 PM, I was knackered and called it a night!
This wraps up my Pattaya adventure, but there’s always more to explore! What’s your favorite hidden gem in Pattaya? Let me know in the comments!
