As mentioned in the last ride video with our group, Koi suggested a ride to Nakhon Nayok for some sightseeing and swimming. The ride was long but relatively uneventful and the sports bikes raced off ahead leaving Bob and me to take a casual cruise out to the waterfall. We found a food vendor there and everyone tucked in for lunch. After another short walk, we decided to make camp and go for a swim. Sorry guys, we didn’t get the “biker chicks in bikini’s” video, but it was a refreshing swim at least.
We got a good downpour while there and when the rain abated, we then rode on to the Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam. Someone mentioned this dam is the longest concrete retainer dam in the world. I had to look that up and found that it is the biggest dam in Thailand. It is also the largest and longest roller compacted concrete (RCC) dam in the world. We got another good downpour while we were there but after an hour it stopped so we then headed home.
