How we spent our Valentines Day

One of the things I love about Thailand is how uncomplicated life is here. Chanya took the day off so we could hang out together. It’s all fair, given she was up early all weekend taking care of last-minute hair and makeup fixes for the local university denizens who just graduated. It’s also close to lottery day, so the locals spend their 100 baht on a ticket instead of 150 baht for a trim. As I said, life is uncomplicated, and it does constantly revolve around eating. Chanya wanted BBQ today, and as it’s been a while since we did Mu Kratha, the elegant version seemed like a great choice.
