We took a ride out north of Bangkok today up to Ayutthaya and our first stop was the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. We were pretty lucky on the way up as we were riding about 30 minutes ahead of a monsoon rain front which was threatening to downpour for most of the trip.
After visiting the summer palace, we continue of north and land at the Wat Maha That temple and take a look at the ruins there. We then head off for lunch at the KarnKitti restaurant and then headed back home.
