Join us for Part 2 of our Songkran adventure in Sukhothai! This time, I finally got the chance to ride in the back of the truck and experience the exhilarating water fights firsthand. Venturing into our local town of Si Samrong, we engaged in playful water battles with fellow celebrants, showcasing yet another vibrant facet of Songkran festivities in rural Thailand.
Riding in the truck’s open bed was an absolute thrill, though be prepared to get thoroughly soaked! Our journey might have lasted longer if not for the dwindling water supplies. Wrapping up the day’s excitement, we made a pit stop at our neighborhood 7-11 for some early evening snacks.
