Experience the vibrant celebrations of Songkran, the Thai New Year, in Sukhothai 2024! As the water fights kick off across Thailand, we find ourselves back in Sukhothai, reconnecting with family and embracing the festive spirit. Arriving at the family farm just past midnight on the 11th, we caught a few hours of rest before diving into the festivities.
Expecting to enjoy the ride, I was surprised to find myself behind the wheel due to the unfamiliarity of manual driving among the current army division. Little did Chanya know, I’ve been driving manuals for most of my life, making me the unexpected designated driver! Despite the detour to Sukhothai as an alternate destination, the annual event turned out to be a blast, filled with joy and unforgettable moments.
