As with everything Thai, it’s the day before the mid-month lottery draw, so mom wants to visit Wat Sawang Arom because the locals there say that many people win the lottery if they come here. Personally, luck is something you make for yourself through deed and sacrifice, but I’m not going to try and educate anyone. I must admit, Chanya and her mom have won little wins when getting tickets from this temple, so who am I to judge? We followed up with lunch at a lovely garden eatery with great food and absolutely no customers!
