Our Wednesday outing this week takes us off the beaten track a bit to the Me Waew Cafe and Bistro. This location is a tranquil garden setting with a pond and waterfall feature. You can get a 200 baht massage or take one of the paddle boats out on the pond. This is a fairly new cafe and the staff told us it has only been open for a month. The menu caters for a small selection of Thai and Western cuisine and a varied selection of beverages.
It was a warm day so we chose to sit inside in the air-conditioning and had a bit of a chat with one of the girls there to find out a bit more about the place. She was very helpful and had a good command of the English language which made me feel more at home. The food was great and not all that expensive so I would recommend you take the journey west and check it out for yourself.
