Not many people outside Thailand know the events that took place on the 6th of October 1976, but for Thai’s, it is a time to make Merit and pray that things like that never happen again. I had never heard of the incident before and it occurred at a time when I was still at school. It sometimes amazes me how much our world history is filtered by our society leaders, especially when it doesn’t fit in with their narrative of a worldview.
