Ok, we’re off to pick up Chnaya’s Honda CB650F and ride it home. It took 3 days to transfer from Australia to Thailand and another 4 days to transfer inter-bank in Thailand, but we finally got the money through. It would have taken another 3 days to transfer to the dealer but Chanya said it was easier to simply draw the money out and pay cash. Of course, I could have done that initially, but the would have meant running into Bangkok and carrying a large wad of cash around but that’s how this cash society works over here.
Anyway, the pick-up went smoothly and she got the bike home safely so everything worked out fine.
