New glasses for my girls and do you tip in Thailand?

All the restaurants are closed so we take mom to the optometrist to get her some much-needed glasses. Chanya also needs to get some because she’s been getting a lot of eyestrain watching that massive TV she wanted. Of course, I won’t say “I told you so” but that’s how things go here in Thailand. While I’m waiting for the girls to get fitted with their new glasses, I take some time aside to talk about the tipping culture here in Thailand. There seems to be a lot of mixed feelings about this so I felt it was a good time to demystify the process from my reality tunnel.
