We continue our journey in Baan Grood, picking up from where we left off at the beautiful Baan Grood Arcadia Resort & Spa. If you missed part one, don’t worry! I’ll quickly bring you up to speed before diving into the highlights of Gift and Joe’s stunning beach wedding celebration.
The wedding procession began on the sandy shores, with Gift gracefully making her way to the stage where Joe was waiting. They exchanged vows and rings in a heartfelt ceremony officiated by a minister. The flower toss brought smiles all around, though the traditional garter play wasn’t part of the Thai customs here.
The evening continued with a wonderful reception where the resort staff outdid themselves with delicious food. As the night wore on, everyone shifted to more casual attire, marking the perfect end to an unforgettable celebration.
The next morning, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at the resort (two poached eggs on toast for me – nature’s vitamin tablets!) but had to solve the coffee issue with a quick stop at 7-11. After a relaxing morning, we packed up, grabbed some road snacks, and checked out to head back home.
