Our Cha-Am Getaway – Part 2: Poolside Fun, Karaoke, and a Hidden Cave Temple Adventure

Dive back into our Cha-Am escape as we celebrate this year’s Thai Mother’s Day with more excitement and relaxation! In this second part, we bring you poolside action, lively karaoke sessions, endless delicious food, and, of course, plenty of drinks to keep the good times rolling. 🍹

Cha-Am’s Beach Road truly comes alive at night, bustling with street food vendors offering a mouthwatering array of local treats. The energy here is contagious, making it the perfect spot to end a festive evening.

The next morning, we found ourselves packed and ready to leave by 10 a.m., only to discover we had until midday to soak in the last moments of our mini-vacation. Although our getaway was short—just two days—it was packed with unforgettable memories.

Before heading back, we made a trip to Tham Khao Luang, a unique cave temple in Phetchaburi that has always intrigued me. I first discovered this hidden gem in the Nicolas Cage movie “Bangkok Dangerous” and visited it 11 years ago with only an SLR camera. This time, I captured the breathtaking beauty of the cave temple on video, though Chanya and her mom were too exhausted from the previous day’s festivities to join me in the spelunking.

Join us in this video as we wrap up our Cha-Am getaway with unforgettable experiences and a glimpse into one of Thailand’s most fascinating temples!
