Mother’s Day Getaway: Road Trip to Cha-Am’s Hidden Gems

Join us as we escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok to celebrate Thai Mother’s Day in the picturesque town of Cha-Am! We were invited by Pammika and her family to a luxurious pool villa party, and it was the perfect excuse for Chanya and me to hit the road for some much-needed relaxation.

Our adventure started with a quick coffee stop—Chanya’s new favourite pick-me-up—before meeting our hosts. Our next destination was the intriguing Wat Tham Chaeng, a Buddhist temple unlike any other, featuring a massive serpent effigy as its centrepiece. After making merit and picking up Chanya’s lucky lottery ticket, we headed to the villa.

Once we arrived, the good times began with a refreshing mix of Sangsom Soda and Coke. But the highlight? A stunning day at the beach where Chanya finally got to show off her bikini! Don’t miss out on this fun-filled day trip as we explore Cha-Am’s hidden gems and enjoy a perfect Mother’s Day celebration.
