Pattaya Nightlife Begins! 🍹| First-Timers React, Late Night Fun & The Morning After

The Pattaya adventure continues! After checking into our hotel, it was time to meet up with my Aussie gaming buddies—some of whom were experiencing Thailand for the very first time. What better place to introduce them than Tree Town?

We grabbed dinner there, where the variety of Western food was much bigger than what I usually find near home. After a great meal (and a quick pharmacy stop for some much-needed antacids 😅), we found a bar, grabbed some drinks, and watched the world go by—just like the locals do!

A few of the guys were first-time visitors to Thailand, and I couldn’t help but wonder if Pattaya is the best first impression of Thai culture—but they all seemed to be enjoying it! After a few rounds, I headed back to the hotel to freshen up for a night out on the town (which, of course, was kept off camera! 😉).

The next morning, I woke up looking a little worse for wear, but breakfast was calling. The buffet was decent, but there was one major disappointment—no real coffee! The hunt for a proper brew began, and after a short walk, we found a nice little air-conditioned café to recharge.

One thing I noticed—the locals in Pattaya didn’t seem as open and friendly as those in my area. Jerry had a solid explanation: life in Pattaya is transactional and transient with all the visitors constantly coming and going. Makes sense!

After coffee, I went shopping for some swimwear (since I forgot to bring mine!) and had a funny little mix-up with the shopkeeper over change, but she quickly sorted it out. A quick swim, a relaxing massage, and then meeting a subscriber in the hotel lobby (who probably should’ve bought a lottery ticket after that chance encounter!) wrapped up the morning.

The video ends as we head to “Londen Beidel,” a unique eatery up on the hill—but you’ll have to stay tuned for the next video to see what that’s all about!
