Life in Thailand Is Unpredictable – And So Is YouTube

Life in Thailand is unpredictable, and today’s vlog proves it perfectly. While Chanya was up at 5am for a beauty-school seminar, I headed into the city to meet her at Seacon Bangkae. Between trying to find each other in the maze of the mall, checking out IT gadgets, and enjoying ramen for lunch, we also wanted to share an important update about how we release content.

Over the past year, many viewers have told us that YouTube notifications no longer work reliably — even when the bell is pressed. We’ve seen it too. Some videos never get pushed out, some topics vanish from recommendations, and the platform is clearly becoming more selective about what it considers “community-friendly.” Instead of fighting it, we’re making a simple adjustment that keeps the main channel exactly as it is, while giving us a little more room to breathe.

But we’re adding a new, free lane for videos that don’t fit neatly inside YouTube’s algorithm box.

These new “Backroom” videos will be hosted on YouTube but kept unlisted. That way they won’t trigger algorithm penalties or get hidden from loyal subscribers. Instead, they’ll be released instantly through more reliable platforms:

• 🌐 Our DIA Website – always accessible

This small change ensures that even if YouTube throttles notifications, you’ll still receive everything we publish. After the update chat, we continue with our normal day: window shopping, hunting for dresses, exploring IT stores, and enjoying ramen while laughing about how nothing ever goes according to plan here — in the best possible way.
