The challenges of building a home in Thailand

One of the major challenges I have with turning a house into a home is the language barrier. I know what needs to be done but the language required to discuss the technical aspects is not every day Thai so things can be difficult to communicate. I’ve found the best approach is to just leave everything to Chanya and hope that it all turns out right in the end. Today we are trying to get back into our weekly routine with our Wednesday lunch outing because the last few weeks have thrown us into a spin. Only a few more weeks to go and we’ll be able to relax and enjoy the new house. We can only hope Thailand gets the vaccine rolled out so things can get back to some sort of social normality!
