There is no comparison I can make between Bangkok Immigration and Nakhon Pathom immigration. These two offices are worlds apart and I am thankful that I no longer have to deal with Chaengwathana in any official capacity. I’ve had many foreigners tell me how easy it is to deal with various province immigration departments and after dealing with the red tape bullshit in Bangkok for so long it is easy to see why other foreigners choose to live in other locations. Our trip today for the TM30 house registration and the TM47 90-day check-in took a total of 10 minutes! The previous trip into Bangkok would take at least 90 minutes on a good day and now I’m only 10 minutes away from the Nakhon Pathom office.
