When a girl’s gotta shop, she’s gotta shop and if you live in Thailand, she wants you to go shopping with her. I never could be bothered with the shopping crap before but Chanya simply makes shopping fun. You start to appreciate these sorts of things in your life when you get to retire early and spend precious time with your girl. It has been about 2 months since they closed down the malls and we’re all suffering from a little cabin fever I think. Chanya has been back at her salon for the last week and this is her special day off. We had to do the visa renewal thing earlier today so to balance things out, I promised to buy her a dress to even things out. That’s how things work here if you want a successful long term relationship in Thailand. It’s all a process of give and take!
