When was the last time you stopped to reconnect with the past?

In today’s connected world where life seems to be running at a speed no one can keep up with, it is rare that we simply take time out to connect with the past. I found myself doing this over the last few days while reconstructing my music library. My life during my late teens through to the mid-20s’ was a wonderful time of exploration which was often linked to the music I was listening to at the time. I was into many music styles around that time but the new romantics of the 80s’ had a special place in my heart. Most of the people I hung out with were into the rock music scene so they thought I was a bit weird liking that sort of music. Of course, they are still stuck in their dead-end jobs hoping the government will take care of them in the next few years while I’m here living the dream. I wonder who made the right choices back then?
