When things go wrong in Thailand

After living here for 5 years, nothing really surprises me these days about Thailand. The latest drama was with my internet service which went offline around 6pm on Tuesday evening. I’ve had a couple of outages here since moving to the new house but nothing lasting longer than maybe 2 hours. I quickly tethered my gaming computer to my mobile connection but after about 2 hours, I started looking into the problem. I got Chanya to make a call and all we got from 3BB was that the whole area was out. A little more investigation turned up a live feed from a rescue worker assigned to the car crash that caused the outage. Our Wednesday lunch date found the aftermath of the accident as it was only one cross street away from our house.
