In our weekly endeavour to find interesting places to eat for our Wednesday lunch date, Chanya found a sweet resort location near us on the Tha Chan river, about 30 minutes from our house. When we visited, they were busy with retaining wall construction, which we were told resulted from the recent flooding and flood prevention measures employed at the end of last year. We did notice some tide marks on some walls that hadn’t been cleaned, which gave the impression that the whole resort was under 300mm of water last year. I was a little disappointed with the long wait for my coffee to come, but the food was great!
