Chanya’s uncle came down from Sukhothai after retiring from the Thai Police, returning his service firearm in Bangkok. It felt like the perfect excuse for a family lunch at Ton Khao Terrace, a peaceful restaurant surrounded by lush rice paddies. The food and atmosphere here are excellent — fresh snapper, local favorites, and plenty of countryside charm.

I took a short walk around to see what’s new, while Chanya kept things lively by convincing me to climb onto a rocking horse for a few laughs and better views. As always, she makes sure our lunch outings turn into mini-adventures!
