I do try to steer clear of the whole cost of living thing when making comparisons to Thailand but I rarely see a cost of moving in video for someone migrating to Thailand. It is one of the videos I never thought about when I moved here, but then again, my move was gradual over a 7 year period bouncing back and forth. Thankfully, I’ve been given the opportunity to help Todd go through the process and we can see the relative costs for 2022. For Todd, he’s found a place here in Salaya (30km west of Bangkok) and it is unfurnished so he needs to get all the basics installed for when he moves in on Thursday.
