Our good friend Chris offered us a look around his new condo building location. Nearly 300 rooms in The Strand with over 1/2 of the condos sold and he is the only person living there. I don’t mean the only farang living there, I really mean he is the only person living there and it was finished nearly 6 months ago. This 55 sqm condo is a single bedroom unit and the asking price is 24 million baht (nearly $1,000,000 AUD) and he is paying 65,000 baht per month rent. The whole deal is ridiculously expensive but this is how the other half lives.
