In this video, I meet up with some of my fellow expats in Bangkok to show a new visitor the vibrant nightlife of this fantastic city. For his first visit to Thailand, we explored the popular areas from Asok to Nana, starting with dinner at Moom Muum. But not without a little adventure! Thanks to Google Maps, we accidentally headed to the wrong location—there are two Moom Muum restaurants on Sukhumvit Road. After a quick chat on Line, we realized our group was split between Soi 11 and Terminal 21. We hailed a Tuk Tuk, bargained for the short ride, and reunited for dinner.
After that, we took him to the lively Beer Garden on Soi 7, filled with loud music and great energy. Then, we headed to the infamous Nana Plaza on Soi 4 to continue the night out. I called it a night around 11 p.m., determined to catch the last train home and avoid the notorious taxi scene.
