Join Chanya and me as we dive into the magical celebration of Loi Krathong, one of Thailand’s most cherished festivals. With our local temple as the centrepiece, the night was alive with lights, music, and the buzz of hundreds of families coming together to honour this beautiful tradition.
Navigating the jam-packed streets was an adventure in itself! Thankfully, our trusty Honda Fino scooter helped us weave through the chaos. The temple grounds were bustling with vendors offering mouthwatering Thai street food, colourful krathongs for floating, and everything you’d expect from a true Thai celebration.
Floating our krathongs on the water wasn’t without its challenges—safety rails aren’t a Thai tradition! But the experience was unforgettable as we sent our wishes and prayers downstream.
To wrap up the evening, we grabbed a delicious haul of street food and made our way home. Chanya took charge of the camera to give you a front-row view of the traffic madness on Don Wai Road—an adventure all on its own!
