Getting Around Bangkok: Exploring the City by Public Transport

Join us on an exciting adventure as we navigate the bustling streets of Bangkok using every mode of public transport! In this video, my friend Jerry and I journey from the heart of the city at Phrom Phong BTS to the iconic Iconsiam shopping mall on the western side.

Our adventure kicks off at Phrom Phong BTS, a popular hub in the city centre. From there, we go through the Siam BTS interchange, offering a glimpse of Bangkok’s vibrant city life. We take a brief detour to Jack’s Bar, a beloved expat watering hole known for its relaxed atmosphere and stunning river views.

Next, we head back to the Bangkok Sathorn Ferry Port, conveniently located under the Saphan Taksin BTS station. Here, we catch a public ferry across the majestic Chao Phraya River, showcasing Bangkok’s rich cultural tapestry from a unique perspective. Our destination? The glitzy and glamorous Iconsiam is a shopping paradise that blends luxury with local charm.

After exploring Iconsiam, we hop on the Golden Line BTS, a new addition to Bangkok’s public transport network, and conclude our journey at Krung Thon Buri BTS. This adventure highlights the convenience and diversity of Bangkok’s public transport and offers a unique insight into the city’s vibrant lifestyle.
