Our Wednesdays are set aside to spend time together because Chanya’s working week starts on Thursday and finishes on Tuesday, making her Wednesday our Sunday to do things together. This has some advantages, but we also find some restaurants and cafes take Wednesday off as it is usually the slow customer day. Today is no different on the speed front as there is a 4-day long weekend ahead to celebrate the Queen’s birthday. Given this week’s situation, Chanya just wanted to have a simple walk around the market and see what the popup stores had on offer. This is, in my mind, the best place to sample street food as the store vendors make their best trade on these long weekend fairs.
