New Year’s Eve is here, and we’re celebrating it Thai-style in the suburbs of Bangkok! We invited friends to welcome the new year with us this year. As you saw in our previous video, we stocked up at the local market, and Mom was busy preparing all the delicious food for the night.
Guests started arriving after 6 PM, and the evening quickly turned into a lively gathering filled with laughter, food, and festivities. One of the highlights of celebrating New Year’s Eve in Thailand is the fireworks! Unlike in Australia, where fireworks are heavily restricted, here we were treated to random displays lighting up the sky all night, culminating in a grand finale around midnight.
It was a fantastic night, and from what I’ve heard, our celebration may have outshone many others, as many of us who I’ve talked to simply chose to stay in for the evening! Join us as we take you through the evening and share the vibrant, community-driven way Thais ring in the new year.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year from the Land of Smiles! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more insights into life in Thailand.
