One thing that does get a little frustrating is the way Thai’s seem to cut corners with things that should be dealt with more seriously. One constant fix-up is the air-conditioner where it needs to be serviced constantly due to algae buildup in the pipes. I try to explain that the pipe angles and diameter are wrong, but that doesn’t concern the service technician. He just cleans the pipes and charges me a minimal service fee. Today was another typical situation with car servicing. Last time it had a rough idle, Chanya’s dad took it to his mate to fix. they changed one fuel injector and it was all working again. This time I took the car to a proper service garage and they replaced the other three injectors as well as the spark plugs. Now the car runs smoothly and has more power!

So we stopped off at Central Salaya Mall on our way home and I got thinking about the whole new normal thing.
Chanya told me she felt the car understeer in the wet yesterday, so it's time to get those new tires!
It's that time of year again when Chanya gets a year younger! Everyone loves cake so let's have a party!
