Pa suggested we visit a Temple in Kanchanaburi that has a hot spring Spa so we take the 2-hour drive west to check it out. It was a weird and funny experience though as I climbed into the tub which resembled a large cooking pot.
After the Spa, we moved on over to the building where the massage therapy was being done. Again, this was a new and weird experience as I’ve never been massaged by a male masuse before. The odd thing here is that there was no actual price given for the massage as it is solely done as a donation thing. I made a 500 Baht donation for the 3 of us who were treated to the massage and the donation was gratefully accepted.
