People today have no idea what it was like dealing with a long-distance relationship for the first 7 years of our journey together. We didn’t have access to all the current video technology we use today, like messenger or facetime and the thousand of other video messenger services. It required scheduling time at an internet cafe for Chanya, and as you can imagine, intimate conversation can be difficult in a public internet cafe. I took her to Australia twice, but as you will hear her recount the memories, Australia wasn’t a good fit back then. Now she is a homeowner and business owner and very much settled on her future here in Thailand, I don’t ever see us migrating to Australia now.
