I had plans to meet up with some friends in Bangkok later in the evening, so I headed into the city to wander around a few of the landmarks. The Hua Lamphong SRT station has been in the news recently regarding the changes to train services out of the station. The station has been scheduled for closure, but as it has heritage significance, the public keeps putting pressure on authorities to keep it open. From there, I took a walk into Chinatown as it was Chinese New Year this weekend, and I wanted to catch all the ambience of the place during rush hour when everyone headed to the street vendors for their weekly shopping.
