It really can be a problem if you are being rushed to the hospital and then find it was probably quicker to walk if you’re stuck in traffic. No, I wasn’t in any sort of trouble, but this traffic issue problem for ambulances got me thinking about general health issues here in Thailand. Statistics are showing that 20% of ambulance patients are dying in transit due to not getting the right of way on the roads.
This got me thinking of things foreign visitors should be aware of if they choose Thailand as a holiday destination. I’m sure there are many more things that could go on the list. This was the first 10 that seemed relevant from reading articles and foreigner questions over the last few months.
