Daily life for a Bangkok expat

Thailand is a fine place to visit for a holiday, but when it comes to daily life, things are quite normal for an English speaking expat. I had the drama with Citibank the other week so I applied for a new Thai bank account with Kasikorn. That was all finalized last week with all the things I needed, so today I took a trip back to the city to close my Citibank accounts.

I noticed on Tim’s recent video that the MRT line to Lak Song was finally open, and that line drops me directly into Asok without line changes. That was quite convenient and actually a few baht cheaper than the BTS too. Not much scenery on the MRT line, given that it is mostly underground, but it is a quicker trip too.

After sorting out the bank stuff, I then drop in to wish Suzy a happy birthday and then make my way home to get ready for my Monday livestream.
