As I’ve mentioned before, we have a small group of dedicated riders who met through the Foreign Motorcycle Riders of Thailand Facebook group. We’ve taken long rides but sometimes we just get together to hang out. Today our friend Por has organised some demo rides at Harley Davidson of Bangkok for us to get a feel for the Harley’s.
Although the Harleys are out of my price range, I did love the tour of their showroom and got to ride a Forty Eight for the first time which was a bit of a treat. Alas, I don’t think I’ll be trading in my Kawasaki Vulcan unless finance companies finally see the light and allow foreign resident retiree’s finance options. As far as I’m concerned, it’s their loss and not mine.
After our test rides, we took a run to a cafe that Por raid was good. The food there was great, but a little on the expensive side of things. Who pays 350 baht for a shredded pork burger? I must admit, it did taste good though.
