Almost the new year, so most locals have taken trips back to their home provinces, which means things aren’t so crowded. I got Chanya to give me a trim, then headed into the city to meet with Jerry to shoot some video. As I’ve never travelled on the canals of Bangkok, or as they call it, The Venice of Asia, it seemed like a great way to discover the hidden parts of the city. Once we got off the boat, we realized we were only walking distance from Khao San Road, so we decided to check what was happening there and grab a liquid lunch.
