Back to Bangkok

It’s the first opportunity I’ve had to justify heading into the Bangkok hot zone in 3 months. Niall in Thailand contacted me and asked if I would like to join them for a meetup, so naturally, I felt obliged. I’ve really had no reason to head into the city as I can get everything I need for daily life in our local village. My first impressions are that the place is deserted and you could actually drive on Sukhumvit Road. That is certainly a novelty here of Bangkok which is usually gridlocked! After some great Mexican food, we moved on to visit Suzy at the Down Under Bar. It was great to catch up with her and she does seem to be managing in these difficult times given that the Bars are not allowed to open yet.
