Checking the progress of the new salon

Well, the work has started on getting the shop prepared for business. Today I drop around to see how things are progressing with the hair salon set up. Then I take a wander around the local area to check out the various business in the hub here.

To be honest, I can’t believe how many pharmacies are within the 100m radius. Funding three 7Eleven shops and a Tesco Lotus express is typical for a hub location like this. A few people have commented already that they feel the location won’t get enough traffic or exposure, but that is probably because they are comparing this with their local town community outside of Thailand. People really have no way to compare this lifestyle unless you live here.

It simply boils down to someone who provides a good service, and a comfortable location to have a chat and haircut. The word of mouth will spread very quickly from this location.
