Lunch at Maccas 🍟 | McDonald’s Thailand, Condo Prices & Chanya’s Pranks

This McDonald’s Thailand vlog starts with a very sleepy Chanya — she began work at 3am and has only been home for an hour before we head out. We take a quick look around the house and show some new camping gear (yes, camping videos are coming… eventually!).

For lunch, Chanya surprises me by picking Maccas — very Aussie slang for McDonald’s Thailand. On the drive, she takes the camera while I chat about Where Winds Meet, the new game that has eaten the last five days of my life. Then she diverts us into a brand-new service-station strip mall — Thailand never stops building or evolving.

As we approach Maccas, we notice new condos starting at just 1 million baht, leading to a chat about foreigner land ownership and our own long-term future here. Inside, we battle through the “fast checkout” system — not always fast! — and then comes the prank: Chanya secretly recorded me singing in the car and plays it back on camera. Of course she did. 😂

After lunch we swing by Big-C Om Yai for groceries. In the carpark, Chanya has a mini clothing mishap but laughs it off in true Thailand daily life style. We tally the shopping, fuel up (using the famous “ha-roi baht” custom at the petrol station), and head home for a wrap-up full of smiles.
