Today, I needed to sort out my Driving and Riding license renewal, as it’s been 7 years since I arrived in Thailand. The standard process for these licenses is to get a Thai permit issued based on your country’s driving license when you first arrive. Car and bike licenses are listed on the same permit in Australia if you have both. Still, here in Thailand, there are two separate licenses, and you need to renew both licenses as individual issues. In this video, I cover what I presented for the renewal, which matched what they listed in the DLT application, so there is no hidden or missing paperwork.
