Our Vios goes to the Body Shop

I’m still pleasantly surprised by the quality of workmanship at really affordable rates here in Thailand. Our car is getting on in years now and at last count, it was 16 years old. Mind you, with this panel work and respray, you’d think it just came off the showroom floor.

Today in this video, I take a divergence from our normal daily life and take you to the panel beaters to pick up our Vios which has been in the shop for the last couple of weeks. Driving the Fortuna around is not only expensive on the gas, but it is also a pig to drive in Bangkok traffic. All up, the car has been resprayed inside and out along with new light fittings and trim. The best part of the exercise is that it only cost 23,000 Baht (~$1000 AUD) so I am certainly not complaining. It’s almost like driving a new car again!
