Personally, I wouldn’t say I like Christmas as the magic for it has all gone. It has become a commercial venture where everyone tries to out-shop everyone else. I fail to understand how that relates to goodwill towards your friends and celebrating the event where some Galilean was nailed to a piece of wood for telling people it was ok to love your neighbour. I can understand the frenzy for those who only get limited time away from work, but is it really all that important? We are all being conned by the retail giants with their glitzy advertisements making you want it before you can afford it. If you’re going to win the rat race, you need to walk away from the ‘keeping up with the Jones’s’ attitude! I did leave Chanya to finish the tour by herself while I took my life into my own hands and jumped on a Win Motorcycle Taxi to head to the nearest BTS station.
