I’ve seen the Cub House stand at the last 3 motor expo’s here in Bangkok and wanted to go and check it out. Luck would have it that a few others in our riding crew wanted to check it out too. As it turned out, the place is great for coffee and a nice joint to hang out in and have a chat.
The Cub is not your run of the mill motorcycle. In some circles, it has a similar prestige as the model T ford and has a history going back to 1956. The scooter design has had a number of revisions over the years but still has a place in the hearts of many riders. I used to ride a Honda SS50 back in the mid-’70s and it was a very reliable ride. The SS50 doesn’t feature in the Cub lineage but was certainly a sports version of the C50 and C70 line built for the UK region.
If you’re looking for a reasonably priced coffee shop with a little historic memorability, then drop in and grab a cup of your favourite bean.
