Temple and Food for Makha Bucha Day

This years Makha Bucha Day was a dull overcast day which is quite rare in Thailand but we made the most of it with a drive out to a temple in Nong Krathum which is just on the border of Nakhon Pathom and Kanchanaburi. It’s really the first long drive we’ve done since getting the new car and it ran really well. The more I drive it, the more I like the MG5. The temple we visited is currently undergoing major renovations but the monk we took ritual with told us he had been to Australia and visited Melbourne a while ago. I was going to make an apology on behalf of all Australians that he went there, but he probably wouldn’t understand. After the temple, Chanya chose a cafe restaurant near Nakhon Pathom city for a late lunch and the food there was great!
